Manastash is designed by Takehiro Fujitsuka and was originally based in Washington state. The name is adopted from a trail in the Cascade Mountains. Their aim, to create products that appeal to the stylish but outdoorsy type. Although the brand has been under Japanese ownership for over 10 years the philosophy is the same "To create functional, stylish and earth-friendly clothing based on the free wheeling lifestyle." Manastash incorporate sustainable materials into their products such as hemp and recycled fleeces. Coupling sustainability with considered design, the brand continues to create unique, sustainable products that have minimal impact on the environment.
