H.Unit by designer Hirofumi Matsuda fuses the Classical with Contemporary, utilising traditional Japanese qualities to create modern, accessible clothing. Using traditional sewing and processing techniques H.Unit fuses the classical and the contemporary. Hailinh from the Kuraishi–Kojima area in Okayama Prefecture. Kojima is the home of Japanese denim and renowned in the production of Japanese textiles. “Be like Kojima, but unlike Kojima” is the company motto.
