Fields Of Gold | Engineered Garments

Engineered Garments AW19 - with the time for the Harvest starting soon we thought it would be a good place to start off, before all this Barley gets turned into Whisky. Like the Dram starts from the seed so too does the clothing by Daiki. Every season the pieces are re done, so the journey starts in the head, then transfers to paper, then to thinking about the fabric, then to the pattern cutter, then to the workshop in New York, then shipped to Aberdeen and finally to the customer. Like all good things it takes time and commitment at every stage of the process, just like a good Malt Whisky. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to celebrate the humble Barley seed and the talented Mr. Suzuki.
